Regarding Fashion and BLANC
S:What are the current fashion trends in South Korea? Does this kind of trend has an influence on you and the style of BLANC?
J: Fashion trends change quickly, they doesn’t wait for anyone. I will take notice more of the global fashion trends, and not just to those in South Korea. I go around the world frequently, this experience has a profound influence on how I see fashion and styles. There are many people leading the trends in the world, and I hope to become one of them.
S: When you were designing BLANC’s ready-to-wear series, where does the inspiration comes from?
J: The brand BLANC is the goal and dream of my life. I really like and enjoy being a celebrity, and will continue to stay in the entertainment industry. But at the same time, I also have a lot of things regarding fashion to learn. I really anticipate the time from now onwards, before I release the 2015 Autumn/Winder line of clothes, I can work together with my designer colleagues, and learn a lot from them.



S: What is your impression of Hong Kong? Who do you think is more fashionable between Hong Kong’s ladies and South Korea’s ladies?
J: I don’t think one should be more fashionable than the other. On the contrary, I believe that every girl, as long as she has a style belonging to herself to express her own, then she will have the one and only beauty, no matter if she is from Hong Kong or South Korea, or any place in the world.
S: What are your suggestions for the Hong Kong ladies who want to dress in a Korean style?
J: My suggestion is very simple, that is, be your true self, wear any clothes that make you feel comfortable and unique.
About Jessica
S: The seasons are about to change soon, which fashion items will be on your must-buy list?
J: A perfect biker leather jacket, and a large V-neck wool sweater to match a perfect large scarf.
S:If you could be invisible for 1 hour, what will you do?
J: Eung….. If I can become invisible for 1 hour….. Or maybe 2 hours…… Or 3 hours…… I would go to Hong Kong’s Disneyland.



S: Who is the man of your dreams? What charms does he especially attract you?
J: I hope he is very smart, infinitely gentle, interesting, and caring. At the same time, he is still ambitious, hardworking, and has leadership to achieve the perfect combination of the three traits.
S:If you are a guy, who would you pursue to be your girlfriend?
J: It’s a very interesting question! Uh….. If I am a guy, I would hope my girlfriend has the same qualities and traits as I have just described for the ideal man.
S: Can you give us some skincare advices? How to maintain the skin’s condition amidst frequent makeup and staying overnights?
J: Maintaining the moisture is the key point, you have to drink more water and use moisturizing masks often.

Jung Sooyeon,English (stage name) Jessica,Korean-American singer, is a member of a renowned group “Girls’ Generation”. She was born in California in the United States of America, and was scouted by a manager into the entertainment industry when she was travelling in Korea. In 2007, Jessica debuted as a Girls’ Generation member, popular across all of Asia, and was voted fifth place of “2012’s 100 Most Beautiful Faces in the World”.



About BLANC

On August 6th 2014, Jessica announced the launch of her personal fashion brand, BLANC. The brand uses “Modern classic” as its concept, every series is mostly designed by Jessica personally. With basic classic lines and the detailed interesting fashion, they create a new fashion brand that people will want to hear more about it. BLANC currently launched its sunglasses series inspired from Jessica’s favourite cities, releasing 6 designs, and will start sales this month in Asia. At the same time, BLANC will also release perfume products, after that it will be announcing the brand’s first ready-to-wear series – 2015 Autumn/Winter apparel.
