    Jessica who debuted as Girls' Generation has already began solo activities in October. Besides her identity as a singer, she gained another title as a "fashion designer", currently managing her own brand, BLANC & ECLARE to an impressive outcome, developing another career of hers! However, due to her celebrity blood in her, Jessica have not forgotten her charisma as her performances. Let's anticipate her to shine in and heat up the entertainment circle in the future!

1 How was your own brand, BLANC & ECLARE started? When did (you) thought of becoming a designer?

My dream of being a designer started long ago. I had always altered my own clothes and consecutively discovered designing clothes is quite interesting, so I started to think of having my own brand and do my own designs.

2 Is there any specific styling in this BLANC & ECLARE brand?

Our brand's style is traditional and classic, focusing on simple and elegant yet sophisticated designs, as well as emphasizing on details. To put it simply, BLANC & ECLARE's definition is eternity.

3 (What are your) expectations for BLANC & ECLARE?

I hope (it) will develop slowly; for now, sunglasses and scarves are being promoted; also, there will also be other products in the future. I hope to do well just like sharing the items in my closet with other females. Hopefully, all females could use the items I have designed.

4 BLANC & ECLARE is being marketed in South Korea, China, Singapore, and other countries in a short time. Where else would you like to expand it to?

I am currently hoping it to be marketed in more Asian countries. In the future, I would also like to expand it to America and bring the product designs to Barneys in New York. That is my favourite department store company.

5 Where do most of your inspirations come from?

Because I go travelling overseas often, I would pay attention to how the people of those countries dress-up. Besides that, my mother is also my outmost source of inspiration because she was the one who does my make-up and match my clothes since young.

6 Is there any designers that you specially look up to?

Yves Saint Laurent. His passion and perspective for fashion has a big influence on me. I think there are also many designers like me who has him as an inspiration.

7 What style do you usually like to dress-up as?

I don't have a specific style. I will decide what clothes to wear based on the occassion and does not specially wear a kind of style just because I am a designer now.

8 What different feels do you have towards the job of being a singer and designer?

I think there are a few similarities with being a singer and designer. Both jobs requires the attention on details, originality, and needs the public's recognition. The years of experience being a singer has also helped me to become more successful in the fashion works.

9 What thoughts do you have in the development of entertainment industry?

Although I do not have accurate plans now,but I want to continue singing and acting, and get to meet my fans more. I hope I can manage both works in the entertainment industry and fashion industry.

10 Are you used to everything after having solo activities?

Since debut, I am a person who talks less. When I am not talking, I am often misunderstood to be unhappy, but now that I have to accept interviews on my own, I have to overcome these difficulties and they are a big challenge for me.

11 How do you face the tough times in life or in work?

In life, getting into difficulties and obstacles are unavoidable. They are also part of life. I think to learn something from these difficulties and obstacles is the most important to me. Perhaps getting into some incidents had made me grow a lot and they become a huge motivation in my life.

12 Your ideal type? At what age do you plan to marry?

My ideal type is someone who can make me laugh, intelligent, gentle, and reliable. My ideal age to marry is approximately 30 years old.

13 Everyone had a view on the intimacy between you and your younger sister, Krystal. What do the both of you chat about personally?

We two will talk about many things. Even if we are not together, we will still send photos with funny faces to each other. We like to eat delicious food together because both of us love to eat! Also, I will ask for her opinions in my designs. Our age gap is five and a half years ans she is still very young so I will ask for her thoughts when I have inquiries related to designs for youths.

The sunglasses of BLANC & ECLARE suits different tastes and styles. Many models can be matched with both males and females. The classical designs attract many people. Doesn't this model with light pink frames has Jessica's sense of taste?

After the promotion of BLANC & ECLARE's sunglasses, warm and fashionable scarves are being promoted in winter! These classical scarves personally modelled by "Queen Sica" are designed to be simple and elegant, as well as easy to match. Besides the dark blue colour scarves that she wore (see P.5), there are also light pink and grey colours available!

    Yahoo! Hong Kong had organised a "Yahoo Popularity Award 2014" awards ceremony which was held on 8th of December at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Jessica had received the "Asia's Top Searched Korean Artist Award". During her sweet receiving speech, she said, "I hope I can come to Hong Kong every week to meet the fans." When accepting the interview, Jessica had self-introduced in Chinese and talked about her impression of Hong Kong. She said, "Hong Kong is a very nice city. I like the weather and food here, especially the snacks, steamboat, and mooncakes."

Jessica who had not made any public appearances in Korea for some time, due to being one of the endorsers for Lapalette, had specially attended the individual fansign event organised by the brand. Before she had reached the event venue, many fans had already waited at the site, just to show their support for Jessica. Jessica was dressed up in a fresh style on that day. Wearing a cream-coloured beret, white blouse, and checkered dress, fully suited in an England college style different from her usual image, attracting the eyes of the public.

Sisters having their charms of their own

Biological sisters' relationship is really good

    Despite not attending that day's fansign event with Jessica's younger sister, Krystal, but their intimacy was long before revealed to many fans on the reality show "Jessica & Krystal".     Since they are biological sisters, there must be times when they quarrel. They had revealed the reason before, Jessica said, "When we were young, we fought over food. Last time, pink fish cakes would be added into Udon noodles and my younger sister would eat those pink fish cakes in my mother's and my bowl without asking. We would then quarrel over it." Krystal also revealed, "In elementary school, I would receive pocket money during New Year and passed them all to my older sister because I have not known the value of money. Until when I grew up, my older sister would usually buy food for me to eat, maybe those were bought using the pocket money from that time!"
